Yassıca Islands

Yassıca Islands, which offers the most anchoring and accommodation opportunities for boats among Göcek bays, and where there are many eating and drinking alternatives, is an archipelago consisting of 12 islands, 5 kilometers from Göcek, and which has become the symbol of Fethiye Bay.

There are also areas where you can set up your tent and stay on the islands, which are home to Göcek bays, where children and non-swimmers can be comfortable thanks to their shallow waters. The Yassıca Islands, which are a frequent destination for blue cruises and daily boat tours, have gained world fame with their natural beauties. The most famous of the islands is Kaşık Island. The name of the island is the natural pool that forms at its tip and has the appearance of a spoon. Surrounded by olive and pine trees, this pond was formed by natural means and attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year.

The waters around the island are quite calm and clear. You can easily watch the fish in the sea with the naked eye. You can set up a camp in a corner where green and blue meet, or stay on your boat by reaching the islands with daily boat tours from Göcek or with your own private boat. Kaşık Island is the most suitable of the 12 islands for camping and swimming.

In Yassıca Islands, you can do activities such as jet skiing, water skiing, wakesurf, and get the chance to see the deep blue underwater world closer by contacting the diving centers. If you love swimming and are confident, you can take your goggles, snorkel and flippers and have a short adventure swimming between the islands.

Transportation to Yassıca Islands is provided only by sea.
