Bedri Rahmi Bay

Bedri Rahmi Bay, whose real name is Taşyaka, has become the most famous of Göcek bays in recent years. Besides the king tombs on the hills, the fish painting made by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu on the rock on the shore is what made the sheep so famous. Painter and poet Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who was the pioneer of the Göcek bays blue cruise tours in 1974, drew the famous fish painting depicting 6 animals on a rock right next to the sea, during his trip to this bay. Taşyaka Bay is named Bedri Rahmi Bay, thanks to the fish painting that has become a symbol of sheep over time.

The Ancient Lycian King Tombs, which are covered with pine trees and located on lush, steep slopes, have made Bedri Rahmi Bay famous among the Gocek bays. “How did these Lycians build these tombs here?”, “How did they bury these people here?” You can reach the king tombs, which will make you say, by walking on steep paths, and you can easily see them from the sea.

Another beauty of Bedri Rahmi Bay is the fresh water source on it. The biggest reason why blue cruise yachts choose this place to stay is this water source. A hose was connected to the fresh water supply, allowing the boats to fill the water tanks. Most boats dock at the small wooden harbor in the bay and spend the night here. Apart from that, daily tour boats also prefer Bedri Rahmi Bay for a swimming break.
