Pig Island

Pig Island

Pig Island

Domuz Island, which belongs to the Simavi family, got this name because it was home to wild boars that used to swim here. However, the new name of the island was Hürriyet Island. Domuz Island, which is frequently preferred by blue cruise yachts because it can be easily anchored in the northern part of the island, is in the top three among the hidden Göcek bays with its deep blue waters and natural beauties.

There is no land transportation to Domuz Island, which you can visit with daily boat tours. Due to the historical ruins on the shores of the island, it is not possible for boats to dock on the shore, but it is very likely that you will see luxury yachts belonging to famous families around the island.

Do not forget to put a pair of sunglasses in your bag to discover the life and historical ruins under glass-like waters.

Entry to Pig Island is free. It can only be reached by sea.
