Sarsala Cove
The bay, which is 15 kilometers away from Dalaman, can be reached by car. It is possible to see private yachts and boats anchored in Sarsala, which is a frequent destination for boat tours among Göcek bays. To reach Sarsala Bay, you have to pass through winding roads and cross the hills. You will be fascinated by the view of Sarsala Bay that comes your way after the rough roads where two vehicles can barely pass side by side. Surrounded by emerald green trees, a corner of paradise with its deep blue waters like a sheet… Luxury yachts on one side, goats wandering on the other, Sarsala is such a beautiful and interesting place…
You can swim in Sarsala Bay, whose water is quite warm compared to other Göcek bays due to its sheltered nature, even in February. Due to its calm and warm waters, thousands of domestic and foreign tourists come to Sarsala every year, both by land and by sea. The fact that the sea is smooth and shallow makes it frequently preferred by families with children. It is forbidden to camp or stay with a caravan during the season in Sarsala Bay, which is generally used by picnickers and people who want to swim. However, no one will interfere with you out of season.
Sarsala Bay beach is a bit stony but not disturbing. The entrance fee to the beach is 2.5 TL per person. If you want to use sunbeds and umbrellas, you can rent them for an extra fee. There are WC, shower, changing cabin, volleyball court, various water activities and lifeguard service on the beach. There is a restaurant on the beach where you can eat, prices are a bit high, credit cards are not accepted. The taxi stand and the car park inside the beach appear as a neglected area that tarnishes the natural beauty of Sarsala Bay.
